INGREDIENTS

  • 125g dark chocolate
  • 500ml milk
  • 1 level teaspoon corn flour
  • 2 small handfuls mini marshmallows, or a few larger ones, chopped

METHOD

Break the chocolate into small pieces and place in a non-stick saucepan with half the milk. Heat gently, stirring, until the chocolate is melted into the milk.

Blend the corn flour with the remaining milk and whisk this into the chocolate mixture. Raise the heat slightly and continue whisking until the chocolate is hot and slightly thickened.

Pour into the two mugs and immediately sprinkle a layer of marshmallows over the top. Stir briskly, so that some of the marshmallows melt into the top of the drink.

Sit back, sip and relax.
