To make the chocolate cinnamon mix, place the sugar, cocoa powder, cinnamon and salt in a spice grinder or small blender and blend on quick pulses to form a powder. Set aside or store in an airtight container.
Place a Le Creuset 24cm Signature Round Casserole on a medium heat and add the canola oil. Allow the oil to warm and then add the popcorn kernels. Stir to coat and place the lid on.
Gently shake the casserole and leave the kernels to pop. The popcorn is ready when you can no longer hear popping.
