Gift Vouchers and Promotional Code T&Cs

GENERAL

Le Creuset may, from time to time, make physical or electronic gift vouchers (“Gift Vouchers”) and promotional codes (“Promo Codes”) available for use on the Website towards the purchase of Le Creuset products. Gift Vouchers and Promo Codes can only be redeemed while they are valid, and their expiry dates cannot be extended. More specifically:

Gift Vouchers

• Gift Vouchers purchased by registered users are valid for 3 years from the date of sale. Gift Vouchers that Le Creuset gives away for free are valid for the period stated on the voucher. In both cases, if the Gift Voucher is not used within that period, it will expire.
• Gift Vouchers cannot be used to purchase other Gift Vouchers or Promo Codes. They do not accrue interest and are not refundable for cash once purchased.
• If the value of your Gift Voucher is insufficient to cover the total cost of your order, you may pay the remaining balance using one of our other payment methods.
• Le Creuset is not responsible for any loss, unauthorized use, or unauthorized distribution of a Gift Voucher once it has been delivered to you or the email address you have provided.

Promo Codes

There are two types of Promo Codes:

1. A Code offering a fixed discount, e.g., R100 off (“Fixed Code”).
2. A Code offering a percentage discount, e.g., 10% off (“Percentage Code”).

• Promo Codes are issued at Le Creuset’s sole discretion, and we reserve the right to correct, cancel, or reject a code at any time for any reason (including, but not limited to, cases where a code has been distributed in an unauthorized manner). Users do not have a right to Promo Codes, and they cannot be earned. Promo Codes are issued under specific terms and conditions governing when and how they may be used.
• As a general rule, and unless specified otherwise on the specific code itself:
  • Each code can only be used once.
  • Only one code can be used per order.
  • Only one code can be used per person per promotion or campaign.
  • A code must be used at checkout and cannot be applied to existing orders.
  • The value of the code will be deducted from the total value of your shopping basket, and any remaining balance will be payable by you.
• Promo Codes cannot be used to purchase Gift Vouchers or other Promo Codes, and they cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash or credit.
• Le Creuset is not responsible for any loss, unauthorized use, or distribution of a code.
• If for any reason a code does not apply correctly at checkout, please contact us to confirm whether the code is still valid. If Le Creuset confirms that the code is valid, and you have already placed your order, you can choose to cancel the order and place it again using the code, or use the code on your next order, subject to the specific code’s terms and conditions.
• You may be required to submit the original communication containing the code and any other information reasonably requested by Le Creuset before you can use a code.

RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS

• Fixed Code: If you used a Fixed Code to pay for an order, and you or Le Creuset later cancel the order (or part of it) before the relevant product(s) are delivered, or if you return one or more products for credit according to the Returns Policy, the value of the Fixed Code will be deducted from the purchase price of the canceled or returned product(s). We will credit your account for any remaining balance (or refund you if that is your preference). We will also provide you with a replacement Fixed Code of the same value as the original code used. Le Creuset may, at its discretion, impose restrictions on the use of the replacement Fixed Code. For any subsequent cancellations or returns arising from the same order, we will credit your account as normal with the value of the returned product(s) (or refund you, if preferred).

• Percentage Code: If you used a Percentage Code to pay for an order, and you or Le Creuset later cancel the order (or part of it) before the relevant product(s) are delivered, or if you return one or more products for credit according to the Returns Policy, the value of the discount received using the Percentage Code will be deducted from the purchase price of the canceled or returned product(s). We will credit your account for any remaining balance (or refund you if preferred). We will also provide you with a replacement Fixed Code for the same value as the discount received with the original Percentage Code. Le Creuset may, at its discretion, impose restrictions on the use of the replacement Fixed Code. For any subsequent cancellations or returns arising from the same order, we will credit your account as normal with the value of the returned product(s) (or refund you, if preferred).

• Gift Voucher: If you used a Gift Voucher to pay for an order, and you or Le Creuset later cancel the order (or part of it) before the relevant product(s) are delivered, or if you return one or more products for credit in accordance with the Returns Policy, we cannot refund you in cash for the portion of the purchase price paid using the Gift Voucher. However, we will credit your account for that amount.
