- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 60g white chocolate
- 1 cups white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
In a large bowl gently melt the white chocolate with the butter in a microwave, remove the chocolate and butter when it’s begun melting and stir it until smooth.
Add the sugar to the melted mixture and beat well to dissolve the sugar and then beat in the eggs one at a time.
In a separate bowl combine all dry ingredients. Mix the dry ingredients in to the butter mixture.
Wrap the dough in cling-film and allow to rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Roll out the dough to ¼ cm thick. Cut out into heart shapes. Bake for 6-8 minutes or until the edges are beginning to go golden brown.
Cool completely on a wire rack. Serve.
