Peanut Butter Cake with Chocolate and Salted Peanuts
- 200g butter, softened
- 50g smooth peanut butter
- 200g light brown sugar
- 5 eggs
- 250g self-raising flour
- 100g chocolate chips
- 50g salted peanuts, chopped
Pre-heat the oven to 170°C/150°C fan/Gas Mark 3.
Mix the butter with the peanut butter and whip until creamy. Add the sugar then add the eggs one by one, beating thoroughly.
Add the flour, chocolate chips and peanuts. Mix well and pour the cake batter into the tin.
Bake for 90 minutes. Allow to cool slightly in the tin before turning out.
