Maple Glazed Bacon and French Toast

The best breakfast combination of sweet and savoury.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 thick slices sourdough
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • oil
  • 250g streaky bacon
  • 45ml maple syrup

METHOD

Season the eggs well with salt and pepper.

Soak the bread slices in the egg mixture, flipping them over after 2 minutes.

Heat a 28cm Le Creuset Toughened Non Stick deep frying pan to a medium heat and cook the soaked bread until golden brown.

Place the bacon on a baking slide and drizzle with the maple syrup.

Grill until golden and sticky and serve with French toast.
