INGREDIENTS

  • 500g fresh figs, roughly chopped
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 4 tbsp water

METHOD

Place all the ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to the boil and then turn the heat down to a gentle simmer for about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. If it becomes too dry add a little more water. Allow the jam to cool before serving with delicious cheeses, crackers and cold meats.
