¼ cup tomato sauce
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp Dijon mustard
1 garlic clove, crushed
¼ cup brown sugar
3 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
¼ cup olive oil
¼ cup white wine
salt and pepper
Makes about 1 ½ cup
Mix all marinate ingredients together and season.
Toss steaks in sauce and allow to marinate for 15 minutes.
Cook steak on hot, preheated Le Creuset griddle, basting with sauce occasionally.
Cooks tip:
Average cooking time for 2.5-3 cm thick steak
· Medium rare steak 3-4 minutes a side.
· Medium- 4-5 mintes a side.
· Well done- 6 and more minutes a side.
